Why Diets Don’t Work???

Have you ever got exhausted, sick and tired of dieting and counting calories?...been there, done that!
Why is it that we never get anywhere when we put our selves under a huge amount of pressure all because we just want to lose weight!?
Well let me tell you why. The notion of deprivation for a certain period of time to get to your goal is ridiculous. Think about it, you try to start a diet, so whats the first thing you do? You stop eating probably half of the food you normally eat. After few day or maybe two weeks of intense struggle, you get discouraged because you don't see the results you would love to see and, since you see no results, you think its no longer worth your time, so you go back to your old habits. But this time is worse. People who use fad diets usually end up gaining back any weight lost and, many times, gain even more weight.
Like I explained in my first post, there are no shortcuts, and these magical diets don’t offer long-term success, and some may even be dangerous to your health.
When someone stops eating certain types of food or eats “special” combinations of foods, resulting in fewer calories being consumed, initially weight can be lost. Unfortunately, most of this weight lost is from water and lean muscle, not body fat.
Bethenny Frankel explains in her Naturally Thin book that life is ongoing. If you find out how to be your healthiest every day, allow yourself indulgences and determine how to have a healthy every day relationship with food and exercise, then you will be fit forever with no ups and downs. Food isn't your best friend or your enemy. You aren't good if you starve and aren't bad if you eat. You are allowed to eat. But always make good choices, eating the best of the best and remember that your diet is your bank account and you can learn how to manage it in your own life. So live your life, be healthy and be happy!!

Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed it!
Until next time,
